Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — At this week’s Spencer City Council meeting, City Manager Kevin Robinson updated the status of WHENf FEMA Relief funds finally coming to victims in Northwest Iowa.

Spencer’s 41 properties is part of a larger buyout request from across the Northwest Iowa region. In total, FEMA funding requested is around $10 million. City and school budgets are taking a hit until the funds arrive.
