Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Parker Historical Society is one of the many organizations rebuilding after the flood. Interim Director Susan Christiansen says many artifacts were lost, especially in the lower level of the original museum on East 3rd Street.
Christiansen tells KICD News some Spencer students – who had visited the museum in 4th Grade – have been helping in the restoration of the one-room school display.
The Parker Historical Society is always interested in donated artifacts that specifically help to preserve the heritage of Clay County.
