Washington, DC (KICD) — A fourth FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will open in the KICD Broadcast area Wednesday.

It will be located in the Sheldon City Hall at 416 9th Street. It is scheduled to open at 1pm and then be open every day from 8am to 6pm until further notice.

Individual Assistance for homeowners and renters is available in Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, O’Brien, and Palo Alto Counties. There were already DRCs at the Cherokee County Emergency Management Buildling, Tower Gate Pavilion at the Clay County Fairgrounds, and St. Patrick’s Church Gym in Estherville.

Tiana Suber is supervising the centers in Northwest Iowa and says it’s imperative to keep good receipts from the cleanup process.
