Spencer, IA (KICD) — Clay County is in search of a new road engineer. William Rabenberg resigned this summer to take a job with the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The retired engineer from Dickinson County – Dan Eckard – has been brought on in an interim position through December.
Supervisor Barry Anderson tells Northwestiowanow.com they’re advertising for the position through the normal channels, but the pool of candidates seems to be very shallow right now.
