Spencer IA, (Northwest Iowa Now) at a recent Clay County Board of Supervisors meeting the topic of improving the county’s emergency services communication service was discussed.

Supervisor Allen Batschelet spoke with Northwest Iowa now about the county looking into approving its emergency communication services.

Batschelet says the county already has much of the equipment in place.

During the flooding in Spencer the Police Department lost power and started using the new system temporarily.

 

Batschelet says it’s still very much in the discussion phase.
