Sheldon, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — You’ve heard us talking about different resource centers following the flood. Jessica Pugh with FEMA has announced an Agriculture Resource Center next Tuesday at the Community services building in Sheldon.
Pugh tells Northwest Iowa now producers are surprised at the assistance that’s out there.
Assistance to citrus farmers was offered in Florida last year, but Pugh says it became immediately apparent that the need for row-crop farmers in Iowa was going to be larger.
The Agriculture Recovery Center will be open Noon until 8pm Tuesday at the Sheldon Community Services Building.
