Spencer, IA (northwestiowanow.com) — A narrow band is expected to develop this morning, building east along interstate i-90 through this morning. Snow may become moderate at times and could drop visibility quickly this evening in some areas. Additional snow will begin to develop early this afternoon across Northeast Nebraska and Northwest Iowa.

Now with narrow bands of snow, they can fluctuate north or south as they develop and even become narrow. This is why your snowfall range may be larger in some locations. Plan for travel impacts ethier way!

While this will be very light and fluffy snow, winds will generally be light when snow falls. Winds will increase up to 20 mph this evening and overnight which could lead to some minor blowing or drifting of snow.
