Des Moines, IA (northwestiowanow.com) — The National Weather Service says more April showers are very well possible in parts of Iowa. Meteorologist Craig Cogil says the system that brought recent rains has stuck around and will be active again this evening.
No significant activity is anticipated this week, with only scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms in the forecast.
Rainfall may accumulate in several areas throughout the week.
Plenty of rainfall is expected, arriving just in time for planting season. The moisture will be a welcome and much-needed boost for agricultural areas.
