Milford, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — The first of three scheduled public information meetings on the Okoboji school district’s bond issue vote is tonight (Wednesday) in Milford.

The session is scheduled to run from 6 until 7 at the Elementary school gym. Superintendent Todd Abrahamson tells Northwestiowanow.com there will also be meetings September 25th at the high school auditorium, October 2nd back in the elementary gym, and one October 23rd at a location to be determined.

Voters will decide the fate of a 69-million-dollar bond issue to construct a new elementary school on the Northwest corner of town and add classrooms and do some renovations at the high school.
