Sioux City IA, (Northwest Iowa Now)— A Sanborn man has pled guilty in federal court after the robbery of a bank in Sanborn on January 22nd of this year.

40 year – old Del Martinez Evans Jr. is accused of robbing the Sanborn Savings Bank earlier this year. Evans was first charged with second degree theft and 2nd degree robbery, and he chose to plead not guilty however those charges were dismissed after federal charges of robbery by forests or violence were filed against Evans.

Evans now faces up to 20 years in prison, a sentencing date is still yet to be determined.
