Ocheyden, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — A Melvin semi driver has been charged with a violation after an accident with a car Monday afternoon near Ocheyden.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Department says Melvin Johnson was Northbound on Tyler Avenue stopped at the intersection, but proceeded into the pathway of 35 year old Levi Christensen of Sibley, who was Westbound on Highway 9.

Christensen was transported to Avera Hospital by ambulance. Johnson was charged with entering a through highway.
