Spirit Lake, IA (northwestiowanow.com) — A Spirit Lake man is one of the winners in the Keep Iowa Beautiful 15th Annual Photography Contest.

In the Iowa Water Category, William Beardsley of Spirit Lake placed 1st Place for his picture in the “Floating Dock” category, which was also winner in the Public Favorite category, William was also Honorable Mention: in the “Window to Serenity,” Category.

Over 900 photos were entered in this year’s contest. Each six categories are awarded prize money with the overall winner receiving 100 dollars. Congratulations to Spirit Lake’s William Beardsley.
