Spencer, IA (The Dirt Racing Now Podcast) — Sawyer Phillips led all 25 laps to capture the ASCS Midwest Region feature Thursday night during the Battle of the Blue Ribbon at Clay County Fair Speedway. Jake Bubak finished second, followed by Zach Blurton, Scott Winters, and Trey Meredith.
In the IMCA Stock Car feature, Kelly Shryock charged from the 11th starting position to claim the victory in the 25-lap main event. Jake Masters crossed the finish line second, while Elijah Zevenbergen rounded out the top three.
The IMCA Sport Mod feature belonged to Willy Kirk, who topped Alec Fett and Justin Klynsma for the win in the 18-lap race.
In the IMCA Hobby Stock competition, Evan Schettler earned the feature victory. Will Smith finished second and Cory Probst completed the podium in third.
Racing at the Clay County Fair Speedway continues Friday night with the Blue-Ribbon Showdown featuring Tri-State Late Models along with IMCA Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Hobby Stocks and Sport Compacts.
