Spencer, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – A lot of production has returned for the Spencer Boys Tennis team which only graduated one-piece last season.

Tigers Coach Joe Steele says the most difficult thing to get back in the rhythm of early season is serving.

Cole McDanel says the team is doing a better job of extending points with opponents as they prepare for the beginning of the year.

Charles Moeller says the Tigers aim to have a good group of doubles teams, something his skills specialize him for.

Spencer opens up with a brutal non-conference stretch. Coach Steele says although they are the underdog in the early season, there is a lot of ways these tough duals can bring some confidence for the athletes.

Colby Sherod is ready to get on to the courts against those tough teams.

When it comes to Conference play, Spencer is in the hunt, but Spirit Lake will be the favorite with Cherokee possibly being a spoiler.
