Sibley, Ia (KICD) – The Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals will be looking to improve on a 1-8 season this year. Battling through a tough schedule a season ago, the Generals have dropped down to Class A, where they will face more teams on their level.
That is Sibley-Ocheyedan head football coach Mike McCarty, who says the offense will look a little different this year for the Generals.
Bringing back last year’s Quarterback and Top Pass Catcher will be important now that the ball will be in the air more for Sibley-Ocheyedan.
3 of the Generals Top 5 Tacklers return for a defense that looks to have some significant improvement from a year ago.
Sibley-Ocheyedan opens up their season on August 25th at Rival Sheldon. Matt Groenewald will have coverage of Sibley-Ocheyedan Football September 8th at South O’Brien and October 6th at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn on Big Country 107.7.
