Spencer, Ia (KICD) – The weather is warming up, and that means it’s time for Spring Sports. The Spencer Track and Field teams hosted their media day on Thursday at the High school.

The Spencer Girls graduated a lot from last year, but Senior Tyriana Vail believes with the appropriate workload, they can get some relays back to Drake Stadium.

Coach Drew Schiltz talked about some of the things he is looking for from the young athletes.

Adalyn Schoelerman is a distance runner who has goals of making it in to the state meet.

Kaylee Rosacker, a thrower, was a Sate Qualifiier for the Tigers a year ago. She talked about getting back to Drake Stadium and what it will take to do so.

Coach Schiltz discussed what the early season has looked like.

Spencer will open up their season at the BVU Indoor Meet on March 15th.
