Spencer, Ia (KICD) – The Spencer Tiger Basketball teams took on Denison-Schleswig Tuesday night in the Fieldhouse.

The three pointer was falling everywhere for the Spencer Tiger girls in their 66-40 win. The Tigers struck for a total of 13 3 pointers in the contest. Mo McDermott led the Tigers in scoring 19. Kiana Schulz led Denison-Schleswig with 22 points. Spencer improves to 13-3 on the year and Denison-Schleswig falls to 3-14.

The Spencer boys picked up a nice looking 47-40 win, holding Denison-Schleswig 25 points below their season average. Owen Olson scored 16 for the Tigers while Carson Seuntjens led the Monarchs with 12. Spencer improves to 6-9 on the year while Denison-Schleswig falls to 11-4.

Up next for the Spencer Basketball teams will be the final conference game of the year at Storm Lake.
