Spencer, Ia (KICD) – 3 Siouxland Conference Volleyball Teams racked up 20 wins or more last season with over half of them finishing with records over .500. The 10 teams get ready to face the gauntlet again in 2024.
Ashley Linquist is the head coach of the Okoboji Pioneers, who were only able to muster one-win last season in the league. The good news is, the Pioneers bring back a lot of experience.
To help develop this young group, Okoboji has had a very busy summer.
Linquist also hopes the active summer months build some Chemistry for a team that will be looking to work up the Siouxland Conference standings.
The Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals turned in a 4-18 overall mark and went 0-9 in the Siouxland for 2023. Head Coach of Sibley-Ocheyedan Ally Poeppe knows the road will be difficult again in conference play but hopes the Generals can snag some big wins.
Poeppe talked about some of the things the Generals will have to do in order to make those goals happen.
Poeppe has seen some improvement in those areas so far this year.
MOC-Floyd Valley took the Siouxland Conference Crown in 2023 with Sioux Center, Unity Christian, and Boyden-Hull all separated by a game in the standings.
Sheldon brings back every piece of production after a 10-20 year in 2023 and could be a bigtime sleeper to challenge the heart of the Siouxland.
