Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — We’re two months away from the General Election, but Clay County Auditor Ann Baschke – also the Commissioner of Elections – says you may now apply for an absentee ballot.
Baschke reminds you that you need only submit one request.
If you do vote absentee, your ballot must be in the possession of the Auditor’s office by 8pm election night. Previous law stipulated that it must be postmarked by election day.
