Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — From the very start the Clay County Fair announced it would NOT be affected by the June flood, but they still are getting inquires whether or not the event is on.

Spencer Chamber Director Sheriffa Jones isn’t surprised the community rallied.

 

 

And with the onset of the fair, Spencer Public Works Director Mark White is out with his annual reminder to be patient with the increased traffic this week.

 

 

The Clay County Fair runs through Sunday September 15th.
