Washington DC (Northwest Iowa Now) — U.S. Senator Joni Ernst from Iowa is spending a lot a time on international issues these days.  Just ahead of the commemoration of 9-11 she visited the Middle East trying to strengthen a coalition again Iran.

 

 

And Ernst told us during a live interview on KICD, she’s pressing the governments on BOTH sides of the border after an Iowan was kidnapped in Mexico.
