Storm Lake, IA (northwestiowanow) — The Mandatory Water Conservation measures that have been in place for Storm Lake since late June have officially been lifted as of today, October 16th.

Storm Lake has passed the heavier usage of the lawn watering period, and city officials believe that the water supply will be adequate for the coming season.

Use of water by residents and commercial users continue to be encouraged to avoid peaks in usage, and to ensure that there is an adequate supply for all users, and a reserve in the towers in the event of firefighting needs.
