Paullina, Ia (KICD) – The KICD Spring Sports Previews continue today with the South O’Brien Wolverines Girls and Boys Golf Teams. Kristine Faust coaches both teams, and she says that there are a few girls who will be looking to battle for State Positions this season.

The South O’Brien Boys team has a lot of numbers, especially in the senior class, but coach Faust says the group will be led by underclassmen.

South O’Brien will be competing in the War Eagle Conference, and coach Faust says that although it is hard to tell now, Akron-Westfield and Remsen St. Mary’s will probably be the favorites heading in to 2023.

Coach Faust says that South O’Brien will benefit from a lot of competition on their home course.

The South O’Brien Wolverines open up the year in a dual at Remsen St. Mary’s.
