Spencer, Ia (KICD) – The Spencer area Swim Team hosted Sioux City Metro on Tuesday in the Jeffery S Olsen Memorial Pool at the Spencer Family YMCA for Senior Night.

Freshman Halle Sears picked up a win in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 59.24 for the Tigers, which breaks her own school record.

Sears would pick up another win in the 100 Yard Backstroke, clocking 1:03.39.

Spencer’s Lily Gross took 1st in the 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:07.55.

Sioux City Metro came away with the duel win 96-74.

That wraps up the regular season for Spencer, as they will enjoy a long break from competition before the regional meet on November 9th in Mason City.
