Lyman, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — An Emmetsburg woman received injuries in a Southwest Iowa rollover accident over the weekend.

The Cass County Sheriff’s department says Lorna Blackwood was Northbound on Highway 71 near the small settlement of Lyman – 13 miles South of Atlantic – when she veered off the travel portion of the road, overcorrected, and entered the East ditch and rolled several times.

She was transported by EMS service to the local hospital with what are described as non-life-threatening injuries. The accident occurred at 5:30 Saturday morning.
