Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — This was an exceptional year in Clay County considering the disastrous flooding. The Clay County Community Foundation and the Disaster Recovery Fund that was already in place helped make a significant impact on recovery efforts almost immediately, and Director Terri Batschelet gives more details.
Batschelet gives more highlights in the 2024 Year-End Report for Clay County Community Foundation (CCCF) released this week.
Batschelet agrees this year was a challenge at times for residents of Clay County and their communities, but gives thanks to generous donors, thoughtful volunteers and resolute partners who help create a brighter future for Clay County. She says the 2025 Community Betterment Grant Season is now open through January 15 and if an individual, or organization would like to learn more about the benefits of working with the foundation, you can find out more at.
