Spencer, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — Monday evening downtown Spencer will be bustling with “holiday cheer” during the annual Grand Meander celebration from 5pm – 6:30pm.
Over thirty businesses on Grand Avenue will have activities and LIVE window displays. At approximately 6pm – the main attraction – Santa Claus will make his way from the Fire Station down Grand to the Police Station parking lot. He’ll be riding in the “SRG Cringle Cruiser,” along with a V.I.P. escort with police cars and fire trucks.
The official tree lighting ceremony will take place in the parking lot once Santa arrives. Families will also have the chance to have their picture taken with Santa.
Also the Tuba Christmas performance will take place starting at 6:30pm in Occasions.
