Spencer, IA (northwestiowanow) — Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird outlined several priorities she plans to pursue if reelected this November.

During a campaign stop in Spencer, Bird said protecting Iowans from scams remains a major focus of her administration.

She said her office has worked closely with law enforcement agencies across the state to investigate fraud cases and educate consumers about emerging scams.

Bird also noted the importance of her office’s cold case unit.

She additionally highlighted differences between herself and Democratic opponent Nate Willems. Bird said her experience as a prosecutor makes her better qualified for the position.

Bird encourages Iowans to educate themselves about both candidates before heading to the polls on November 3rd.
