Swea City, IA (northwestiowanow.com) — The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Department was called to the North Union School District’s Swea City Campus Thursday morning after one student reported getting a text from another student who says he was bringing a bomb to school.  Superintendent Travis Schueller says law enforcement official arrived within minutes, and determined the statement was not credible and that there were no real safety concerns.

Sheriff Roger Fisher says the student who sent the text has been identified and the case will be turned over to juvenile court authorities.
